Your check-up begins with a friendly introduction to your dentist. We’ll take a few moments to understand your dental history, any current concerns and answer any initial questions you may have.

Advanced 3D Digital Scanning

Next, we use a state-of-the-art 3D intraoral scanner to create a high-resolution digital model of your mouth. This quick and comfortable process that helps us spot subtle changes over time.

X-Rays (If Needed)

If clinically appropriate, we’ll take digital X-rays to look beneath the surface of your teeth and gums. This allows us to detect issues that aren’t visible to the naked eye, such as cavities between teeth or early signs of bone loss.

Comprehensive Visual Examination

Your dentist will then carry out a detailed examination of your teeth, gums, tongue, and soft tissues. We check for signs of decay, gum disease, oral cancer and other dental issues—ensuring a thorough picture of your oral health.

Dental Hygienists

FREQUENCY

It is recommended to visit the hygienist at least once every six months.

DENTAL CLEAN

Hygienists clean and polish teeth to remove plaque,tartar and stains.

ORAL HEALTH

They examine the teeth and gums, looking for signs of oral diseases such as gum diseases or cavities.

EDUCATE

Hygienists educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing and maintaining a healthy diet.

POLISH

Following your cleaning, we polish your teeth to restore their natural shine and smoothness—this helps prevent plaque from re-adhering to the tooth surfaces.

AIRFLOW (Optional Extra)

A modern cleaning system that gently removes plaque and surface stains using a fine spray of warm water, air and natural powder. It’s fast, pain-free, and ideal for stain removal.

White Filings

Less removal of healthy tooth structure compared to amalgam fillings.

This preservation of tooth structure is beneficial for long-term dental health.

They provide a more natural and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Root Canal

A root canal is a dental procedure performed to treat and save a severely decayed or infected tooth.

It involves removing the infected or damaged pulp from the inside of the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, and filling them with a special dental material.

Crowns

Dental crowns are restorative dental prosthetics that cover and encase a damaged or weakened tooth.

Extractions

Tooth extraction is a dental procedure in which a tooth is removed from its socket in the jawbone.

Dentures

I was not by any means expecting perfection, just something better than what I had, but perfection is exactly what I got.
I had some veneers and implants done. Now I cannot stop smiling.
Specifically, I cannot thank Dr.Eassun and his assistant Lauren enough for not only giving me a perfect smile but also oodles of confidence and also putting up with an occasional tantrum of mine. He stuck with me and made sure I was looked after and happy with the end result.

From the very beginning, she has been incredibly patient and always happy to go at my pace, which made such a difference to my confidence and comfort. She took the time to clearly explain all of my options, was very informative throughout, and never once pushed any treatment that she didn’t genuinely feel would benefit my teeth repair and improvement journey.

My treatment started with a root canal, and from there all the way through to the end of my Invisalign treatment, Dr Shivali has been amazing. She’s not only highly skilled, but also so friendly and reassuring — she really puts you at ease and makes every appointment feel far less daunting.

If I ever need any more dental work in the future (hopefully not!), I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Dr Shivali at Zen. She will always be my first choice.
