How much does Invisalign cost in Surrey?
Invisalign at our Banstead clinic starts at £3,000 for Lite, £3,500 for Moderate and £4,000 for Comprehensive. Every package includes whitening, contouring, three sets of Vivera retainers and your follow-up appointments. 0% finance is available over 12 months.
How long does Invisalign take?
Most cases run between 6 and 18 months. Mild crowding or small gaps can finish in as little as 6 months, while larger bite corrections take longer. You will get a specific estimate from your 3D scan at your free consultation.
Does Invisalign hurt?
You will feel firm pressure for a day or two each time you move to a new aligner. That is the teeth moving and it settles quickly. There are no brackets or wires, so there is nothing to rub against your cheeks or cause ulcers.
How many hours a day do I need to wear my aligners?
Between 20 and 22 hours a day. In practice that means they come out only for meals, drinks other than water, and brushing. Some patients call this the 30 minute rule, meaning you aim to have them out of your mouth for no more than about half an hour at a time.
Can I eat and drink with my aligners in?
Water is fine. Everything else should be taken with the aligners out, including tea, coffee and anything fizzy, as heat warps the plastic and colour stains it. Brush before you put them back in.
