Whether you are suitable for teeth whitening depends on a number of factors, including your age, overall health, and the condition of your teeth. In general, most people are good candidates for teeth whitening, but there are some exceptions.

Is it correct that my teeth would be sensitive after teeth whitening procedures?

Whitening your teeth is a highly safe and successful procedure, but it often leaves patients with sensitive teeth. Even while this sensitivity will only last for a short time, it may nonetheless give you some discomfort in the days after your treatment which is normal.

Should I brush my teeth before or after whitening?

It’s important to wash your teeth before using any teeth-whitening product. This is done to guarantee that any plaque (the sticky coating on the teeth’s surface) is removed and that the whitening ingredient in the strips or gel comes into the closest contact with the teeth.

How long will my teeth stay white post-procedure?

Teeth whitening can last for roughly a year following treatment, however, this time frame may be cut short by poor oral hygiene and other bad habits.

Who qualifies for a teeth whitening procedure?

Patients with dental decay, worn enamel, gum inflammation, periodontitis, and other gum illnesses, as well as strong drinkers and smokers, are not good candidates for teeth whitening. It’s always best to have a consultation so we can determine your suitability.

How long do the treatments for professional teeth whitening take?

Gel-like solutions containing hydrogen peroxide are often administered to the enamel of the teeth during professional teeth whitening procedures. It is administered for between 30 minutes and 60 minutes.

I was not by any means expecting perfection, just something better than what I had, but perfection is exactly what I got.
I had some veneers and implants done. Now I cannot stop smiling.

From the very beginning, she has been incredibly patient and always happy to go at my pace, which made such a difference to my confidence and comfort. She took the time to clearly explain all of my options, was very informative throughout, and never once pushed any treatment that she didn’t genuinely feel would benefit my teeth repair and improvement journey.

My treatment started with a root canal, and from there all the way through to the end of my Invisalign treatment, Dr Shivali has been amazing. She’s not only highly skilled, but also so friendly and reassuring — she really puts you at ease and makes every appointment feel far less daunting.
